Hidden in Plain Sight invites viewers to step into the often-overlooked world of nature’s smallest wonders. Through the lens of macrophotography, the exhibition reveals the extraordinary details of creatures we might otherwise pass by—a spider mite no larger than a pinhead, a ladybug stretching skyward, an assassin bug caught in quiet contemplation.
For the artist, photography began at age 17 with a first camera gifted by her parents and quickly grew into a lifelong passion. From family moments to expansive landscapes, the camera became both constant companion and creative outlet. Yet it is in nature that her vision comes alive, where slowing down with a lens offers a chance to see the world more clearly and beautifully.
Exhibited across the Midwest since 2022, her work captures the intricate, unseen corners of life and reminds us of the beauty hidden just beneath the surface.
