Valerie Norton

I am a Tulsa-based fused glass artist and instructor with more than 20 years of experience working with glass. A native Tulsan and graduate of Will Rogers High School, I create colorful, contemporary glasswork inspired by nature, texture, pattern, and the playful possibilities of the medium.

Through my business, Artful Adornments, I create functional and decorative fused glass pieces and teach small-group classes from my home studio in midtown Tulsa. My work ranges from jewelry and ornaments to illuminated panels, sculptural pieces, and garden art.

I enjoy experimenting with layers of color, movement, and light while allowing the natural characteristics of glass to influence each finished piece. I regularly participate in local art shows, exhibitions, and community events and especially enjoy introducing others to fused glass through hands-on classes.
