Robert Founds
Robert Founds incorporated art in his life in many forms throughout the years. For most of his life, it’s was seen in his restaurant and food and beverage operations, but in 2020 he felt called to buy some paint and canvas in order to make some attempt to expose that raw emotion publicly. His other interests include local politics (as the former vice mayor and interim mayor for Bixby, OK) marathon runner and triathlete, representing his restaurant peers within the Oklahoma restaurant association and a passion for fighting food insecurity which lead to dedicating to donating the proceeds from his art to Tulsa’s only emergency food pantry that delivers. His work is a mixture of abstract, Impressionism while including mixed media often. Much of his work is done with the same 1/4 in. palette knife his grandmother use to create hundreds of paintings throughout her life.
