During Covid, geologist Kristin Lese took a deep dive into the history of women in STEM. What she discovered inspired her to bring the stories of seven women to life through the visual arts.

Using a combination of geometric shapes, intense color, and realism, AJ creates new work in his own unique voice. “I first come up with an idea then I put it in the oven (my mind) then I let it cook,” he explains.

Tyler forages for grasses, plants, roots, wood shavings, and even insects to create her own natural dyes, creating a palette that is as authentic as the landscapes she depicts.
