A Fundraiser Benefiting Local Artists Through TAC

A Tulsa tradition since 1999, TAC’s legendary 5x5 Show and Sale features artworks by over 150 artists, all sized at 5" x 5" and priced at $55 per piece. A wonderful example of artists helping artists, 100% of the proceeds from the 5×5 directly benefits artists through the TAC Gallery.

About the Event

The excitement and support from artists and the art-buying public for this unique event is tremendous. On the day of the event, art buyers line up early outside the TAC Gallery for the opportunity to purchase their favorite 5" x 5" creation. At 5:55 pm, we open the doors and the fun begins!

In addition to raising vital funding for TAC, the 5×5 provides everyone an opportunity to purchase quality, affordable art while providing artists the opportunity to display their talents before the thousands of art patrons who visit the Tulsa Arts District each month.

GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATING ARTISTS

TAC will provide participating artists with a 5" x 5" canvas (two per artist, while supplies last) or artists are welcome to use their own 5" x 5" canvas or surface, or 3-dimensionally within 5" x 5" x 5" size. Canvases are available March 1 and may be picked up at: TAC Gallery 9 East Reconciliation Way (formerly M.B. Brady), during gallery hours, Friday 6-9 pm and Saturday, Noon-5 pm. – OR – at Ziegler’s Art Supplies, 9 am-4 pm 2217 E Admiral Blvd. (1 block West of Lewis).
Please PRINT first and last name and email address legibly on the back of your piece to ensure you’re properly credited on the artist list. (Email is used for the gallery to communicate with the artists.)
Hangers, such as hooks and wires are NOT necessary, as our volunteers mount the canvases using the original stretcher bar.
5x5 artworks are a donation to the fundraiser and become the property of TAC.
Unsold art may be reclaimed by the artist. We ask for a $10 donation to cover the cost of the canvas (if TAC provided the canvas).
Work may be disqualified if guidelines are not met.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: Saturday, April 27, 2024 from noon-5pm
5x5 OPENING: Friday, May 3, 2024 at 5:55pm

The finished work must be returned to:

TAC Gallery, between 12-5 pm, Saturday, April 27, 2024.
Ziegler’s Art Supplies, between 9 am-4 pm, Saturday, April 27, 2024.
Pieces received after the deadline may not be included in the show.
