Spokes: A Bicycle-Themed Exhibition

The Tulsa Artists’ Coalition will hold its first bicycle-themed art exhibit, “Spokes,” June 6 – 28 to celebrate the energy and excitement of Saint Francis Tulsa Tough 2025, a nationally ranked cycling event that brings racers and fans from across the country to Tulsa. Both Saint Francis Tulsa Tough and “Spokes” open Fri., June 6.

The art exhibit will feature works created with many different mediums including acrylic paintings, watercolors, mixed media pieces, and sculptures. TAC board members RC Morrison and David Morrison (no relation) curated the show.  “Saint FrancisTulsa Tough is an exciting national cycling event and we wanted artists to participate in it by showing related works at TAC,” RC said.

RC was volunteering at the TAC gallery when the idea for “Spokes” occurred to him. “Saint Francis Tulsa Tough is such a popular event that I thought the cycling fans in the arts district on First Friday might appreciate a bicycle themed exhibit,” RC said.
