The Tulsa Artists’ Coalition was formed in 1986 to support and encourage area artists at all stages of their careers. We understand that one of the biggest obstacles for talented artists, especially emerging artists, is simply finding a venue to display their art—especially if the art is deemed non-commercial or too controversial for a traditional gallery. Therefore, for the last decade, we have operated the TAC Gallery at 9 East Brady to allow artists an opportunity to display their art and to give the public an opportunity to view and purchase quality, contemporary art, that might not otherwise be seen in Tulsa.

We take pride in the quality of the art that is exhibited in our gallery. The artists who exhibit at the TAC Gallery are chosen by an independent selection committee comprised of professional artists, art teachers, and others with an appropriate background in art. We are staffed by volunteers and supported through fundraisers, memberships, donations, and art sales. We consider memberships to be our most important means of support. As a member of TAC, you are an instrumental part of our mission and have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to support contemporary art and artists in Tulsa.
